Client's hardware park contains various models of vending machines, up to 10 years of difference between first ones, and up-to-date models.
The client's aim was to decrease profit loss due to disability to receive payments from credit cards. Another point was chaos in user data, which make it impossible to make correct business forecasts.
UX/UI layer of the user mobile app inherited a color scheme of the existing client's website. The admin panel and CRM were made extremely simple, so so Client's accountants and analysts can easily work with it.
The data about each transaction made via a mobile application is collected and analyzed by the Client's operations planning department. The user payment data is not stored on the device due to security requirements.
The data required for the payment application is taken from the API, which controls multiple parameters of the hardware, and that is more than 1000+ units in one city. This API is also connected to reporting systems providing the data to the hardware maintenance team.
On the client-side of the solution, there are several interfaces. The first one as a cross-platform mobile application that allows scanning a QR-code on a water vending machine, and make an immediate payment via connected payment getaway.
The mobile application additionally has a feature of a reporting system and allows the Client to respond immediately to the hardware issues reported by buyers.
